SPA DAY REVIEW by Yvette McDonald
What an amazing day! From the word "go" the women were eager to see what JustBe had on offer. The day started with an informative and thought provoking workshop - Authentically You! run by Jennifer Denny, who talked about women being authentic and true to themselves. Among the many things she talked about, she encouraged the women to take at least ten minutes out of their day for themselves, to focus and find out who they are and to develop their own destinies. Jenny made them all feel at ease and it was wonderful to see so many talented and gifted women in one room. The women's ages ranged from 31 to 70 years. This proves that no matter how old we are we're never too young or old to learn.
After a buffet lunch the women had a relaxing time in the Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Some exercised, had a swim whilst others just took the time to rest. There was a quiet peaceful atmosphere in the spa that was perfect for the day.
At dinner there was such an inner glow that was visible on the women's faces and in the way they carried themselves. I talked about JustBe and the many things that we offer and encouraged the women to participate in the future events. The women enjoyed our free raffle and the gifts that were given. One lady commented that the room looked decorated for a wedding! What made the evening extra special was the two beautiful women, who had never met until that day, and who gave a beautiful rendition of an inspirational song by Kirk Franklin called "Imagine Me".

The JustBe Spa Day was the perfect way for the women to relax and recharge their batteries. To sum it all up, the day made the women feel special. It made them feel good about themselves and in so doing; they feel better about the world around them. For us as the JustBe Team, we were honoured to host such an awesome group of women, and to have been able to give them a day that made them feel special is a joy and pleasure. We look forward to seeing you at our future events!

In all honesty I was counting down the days to the JustBe Spa Day, being a single parent mother of twins, and holding down a busy job I was so looking forward to a day to myself. When I pulled into the hotel car park I was pleasantly surprised at the prestigious hotel and surroundings, the interior of the hotel was just as impressive. Unfortunately I arrived a little late however my hosts were more than accommodating and offered me tea a biscuits while I settled down for the workshop.
The workshop was awesome, Jennifer Denny offered two-hour long session of helpful strategies on how to be the best that you can be. At the start of the session Jennifer asked everyone to stand and introduce themselves, this was great as we were able to get an insight into various gifts and talents in the room. Jennifer covered many topics during the workshop; motivation, self worth, insecurities and relationships are just a few that inspired me. I was told that there were 50 women in the room and I noticed most scribbling away as Jennifer spoke, I will copy up my notes as they are many areas that I need to re read and note for the future. At the end of the workshop Jennifer wanted to show a video of a song by Kirk Franklin 'Imagine Me'. This song has so inspired and encouraged me in the past, I could not believe that this was the song to end the workshop. As I discussed this on my table, another attendee said it was her favourite song too and she had the cd in her car.
After a delicious lunch we all changed into our swimming costumes and enjoyed the spa facilities, swimming, Jacuzzi, steam and sauna. Lounging, fellowship and enjoying the surroundings were such a blessing, everyone was in one accord and the joy and happiness of being at peace was so evident. At around 6pm we all started getting ready for dinner. Having taken pictures in the hotel grounds we entered a fully dressed room on par to a wedding reception. The tables dressed in white and purple was a wonderful sight, there was a real sense of appreciation placed by the JustBe team, I felt totally spoilt!. Yvette, JustBe's Director, introduced the various JustBe monthly workshops, followed by a Caribbean banquet. Taking a step of faith, Estelle and I decided to sing 'Imagine Me' after dinner, to God be the glory! We were blessed! The evening came to a close with a scrumptious variety of desserts, a free raffle and thank yous. I personally would like to thank Yvette and the JustBe team for walking in faith and allowing God to birth a wonderful ministry.
MY SPA DAY - Christine Brown
An absolutely fantastic day was promised by Yvette and JustBe team and I wasn't disappointed. I met some lovely women, we had a laugh, we were reminded of how special we are with the excellent speaker/motivator Jennifer Denny; and after got some seriously needed relaxing pamper me time. Just one thing though about the day... it went too quickly, it just flew by! ( Guess that's always a sign you're enjoying yourself). Can we have some more please? The JustBe team have set such a high standard of professionalism and excellence, nothing was too much trouble to ensure our comfort and wellbeing; from the beautifully decorated function room with the JustBe colour-scheme, to the little gifts given to us on our departure. God has provided tangible human loving arms through this Ministry and has used it to reinforce to myself other women of His love for us. Thank you Yvette and JustBe team!
