Just Because My God woke me this morning
I was able to see a new day dawning
And Just Because I met Him down on my knees
I felt His presence like a gentle breeze
Just Because I am able to pray
I can ask God to guide me through each day
Just Because He understands
I Trust in Him to hold my hand
Just Because He knows my dreams and my hopes
He will take me through the slippery slopes
Just Because I believe He is Lord over my life
He keeps me safe from all worries and strife
Just Because He gives me grace
There is nothing in life that I cannot face
And Just Because I love Him with all of my heart
I know that from me He will never part
And Just Because I place my life in His hands
I am sure that He will complete the master plan
Just Because He knows who I am
On His promises I know I can stand
And Just Because He loves me and I know that He does
There is nothing in this world that I cannot have
Just Because I am able to achieve
All that I can if I only believe
So Just Because I know my God is on time
I offer to Him this life of mine
And if I can Just Be still and wait patiently
He will show me what He wants me to see.
